Sunday afternoon

Today after church it was so sunny and beautiful outside, we decided to have a picnic out on our deck. The grass was definitely too wet, but the deck with a thick blanket was perfect.
Here the boys are enjoying their sandwiches.









You can see we have a pretty good sized backyard, which we like, and a swing set, which the boys love. The bad thing is how uneven, bumpy and holey it is out there. You have to watch your step, or you could easily step into a hole and twist an ankle. You'll also notice the big dead spot in the middle of the yard. We've planted grass, so hopefully it will come in, in the spring and not look so bad. Good thing we are just renting, or we would have a LOT of work to do back there.


There is also a tree that is perfect for a six-year-old to climb (and get stuck!).
